Performing Arts School :: Acting

Performance Workshop

 

Instructor: Joseph Monohon

Tuesday & Thursday 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM 

This course is designed to take the student from auditions through closing night.   The students will engage in a variety of theatrical games and exercises that will help them grow as performers.  The class will focus on the rehearsal process, staging, script and character analyzation and will culminate with a performance in the Saturday Family Theater series.

   For ages 6 and up

   Minimum 6

   Tuition $100.00

 
About the instructor

Joseph Monohon received his Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Washington State University and has won awards from the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts in both acting and set design.  Appearing in some twenty productions over the years his most notable performances have been the lovable Cowardly Lion in the “Wizard of Oz”, Beast in Disney's “Beauty and the Beast” and  Friar Laurence in “Romeo and Juliet”. He also has an extensive background working with young people
