As a preteen/teen, (ages 12-17) I had the opportunity to be directed by John Rich in five separate productions. He was the first director I ever auditioned for and remains one of my most admired nearly eighteen years later. He taught me a strong work/theatre ethic and to trust my instincts on stage and off. I have been able to apply what I've learned under John's direction and example in regards to my schooling, career, and theatrical endeavors and will continue to do so moving forward.

I did my first audition ever, at 16, for John Rich. He is the person who taught me how to begin to develop my craft, and more importantly, taught me how to love it. He's the one who started "theatre magic" in Pullman, Washington.

I've learned so much from John over the past years! He's provided me with such a fantastic foundation and cares deeply about the honesty and integrity of performance art.
